2009

Foundation of SME Melaka

A small but determined group of Melaka entrepreneurs came together with a shared belief: that SMEs, united, could achieve far more than they could alone.

2012

First Annual SME Summit

We launched our flagship summit, bringing together hundreds of business owners, policymakers, and investors for the first time under one roof in Melaka.

2016

Regional Partnerships Established

Formal ties with ASEAN chambers of commerce opened new export pathways, investment channels, and international market access for our members.

2020

Digital Resilience Initiative

When the pandemic hit, we pivoted immediately — supporting over 50 SMEs in transitioning to digital operations, e-commerce, and remote-ready business models.

2024

ASEAN Top 50 SME Network
